I can't breathe when I wear face pressure bandage. If I don't wear this, will my face sag? (double jaw surgery, v-line surgery)
I can't breathe when I wear face
pressure bandage. If I don't wear this, is this cause sagging?
EU
recommends you wear the face pressure bandage due to reduce the swelling!
When your surgery, the tissue fluid all gathered in the surgical area. We do
face pressure bandage to prevent them from gathering, and then secondly we wear
face pressure bandage to prevent sagging. If you can't breathe, you don't have
to. Breathing is more important. Even if it’s important to breathe you still
have to wear face pressure bandage. It's good to loosen the face pressure
bandage, tie it up, and adjust it between your breathing and swelling.
The swell develops early in the
surgery, and I usually see when the swell occurs for about three days after
surgery. Try your best to wear often as you can during those three days, and if
you feel really frustrated and hard to breathe afterward, releasing the face a pressure bandage will not have a little effect.
I
think you should wear long as you can at the beginning.
