Facial asymmetry surgical method
(Double Jaw surgery)
1. Double jaw surgery for facial
asymmetry
Depending
on the circumstances, double jaw surgery
for facial asymmetry involves performing surgery to repositioning the lower jaw
only. But if there is an issue with the inclination of the upper jaw, then the
surgery is performed by cutting the upper jaw horizontally and positioning it to
arrive at the desired inclination, and then by moving the lower jaw to the
center given the position of the upper jaw.
2. Chin surgery for facial asymmetry
After
performing facial asymmetry double jaw surgery, chin surgery is performed to correct
for any remaining asymmetry.
