Drs. Renée Villouta B and Javier Rojo: Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons
Drs. Renée Villouta B and Javier Rojo visited EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the summer of 2022 to observe how facial bone surgery is performed at our clinic. They have done their medical studies and residencies at the University of Chile. Dr. Villouta discovered EU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery while doing some research to complement her learning during her residency. Impressed by the outcomes of the surgeries, she determined that it had to do with the surgical techniques involved and sought to visit EU to learn from Dr. Kim and Dr. Shin through the surgery observation program. They were able to view some techniques that they have only read about in scientific journals but have never witnessed.
